    <description>&lt;P&gt;My husband received a 1099-g for unemployment from New York. The turbo tax options in this area do not have unemployment as an option and the boxes don't match up. For example, I have Unemployment income eared in box 1 and there is no place to put this in. Please help.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;LI&gt;Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home and Business)&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Click on Wages and Income (Personal Income using Home and Business)&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Click on I'll choose what I work on (if shown)&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Under Unemployment&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;On Unemployment and Paid Family Leave, click the start or update button&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/UL&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Or enter &lt;STRONG&gt;unemployment&lt;/STRONG&gt; in the &lt;U&gt;Search&lt;/U&gt; box located in the upper right of the program screen. Click on &lt;STRONG&gt;Jump to unemployment&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;True,&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;there is a section JUST FOR UNEMPLOMENT under income.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Return to and DELETE that 1099-G&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Unemployment is located under Wages &amp;amp; Income the third section down&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
