TT requires 24 characters ID. Truist provides 21 characters. This is for Truist Wealth Management

Truist Wealth Management is not currently on our list of TurboTax Import Partners. You will need to upload your form from your computer or type it in yourself. Please see this TurboTax Help Article for more information.

Truist Wealth is on the list of import institutions. When you select Truist Wealth, it comes up as BB&T Securities with the Truist Logo. BB&T and Suntrust merged in 2021 to create Truist. The instructions state "enter information below to access your available Truist Wealth Tax Forms". The tracking ID asks for 24 chars. Mailed Truist forms have 21 chars. Called Truist, and they referred me to Tubotax.

As a former Suntrust customer, I am quite familiar with the merger between Suntrust and BB&T. With that said, Truist is not officially listed on the Turbo Tax Import Partner list that was provided by MoniqueLO_. This could be contributing to the issue that you are experiencing. What we do have is BB&T, BB&T Securities, LLC and BB&T Wealth. Question - where are you seeing "enter information below to access your available Truist Wealth Tax Forms" is this when you log into your Truist account?

I am having the same issue and see the same option on the list of Banks that I can import from. This is an issue between Turbotax and Truist.

I was able to upload the Truist Wealth tax forms by using National Financial Services and Keying in my Wealth Scape userid and password. This is the Payer's name (National Financial Services) and address on the 2021 Tax reporting statement.

Did you use your Truist Wealth username and password where it asked for Wealth Scape userid and password? I could not get that to work.

i did not...

I used my wealthscape userid and password. If you don't have one you should be able to set it up with the information you have. will need one of your account numbers. go to this site and click register. If you already have one, then just you your ID and Password . https://www.mystreetscape.com/login/truistinvestmentservices/investor-index.html

This site is basically the same as your Truist Wealth Portal but it has a lot more detail information concerning your accounts.

It should work with the mystreetscape userid and password
