Look for an ACTION NEEDED! email from turbotax@intuit.com. It will give you a brief explanation of your reject and how to fix it.

If you did not receive an email then sign in to TurboTax, select Fix my return, and you will see your reject code and explanation.

The Primary Taxpayer Prior Year Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) did not match the Prior Year AGI on the Illinois Department of Revenue (IDOR) production file

The federal AGI is on line 1 of your Illinois 1040 from last year. Your Illinois Base Income is on line 9 of your Illinois 1040 from last year.

Prior year (AGI did not match prior year on IIDOR production file? I have NO IDEA what that means. I have looked at my entire Illinois return and can't find an error.

If you are trying to fix a rejected state return, such as other users in this thread from prior tax years were doing, see this revised help article.

To fix your rejected return, sign in to TurboTax and select Fix it now or Revisit, and TurboTax will guide you through fixing and refiling your return.

Be sure only to make the recommended entries to fix the error.

If you are still having trouble, please clarify the problem and state where you are encountering a problem with making entries.
