eFile question - more than 5 returns

Hi. I know that you get 5 free federal efiles but can you pay for additional, e.g. myself, my children etc? Or do you need an additional license?

The five federal e-files is an IRS limit. Buying another CD/download will not allow you to file more. If you have a big family and have already used up the 5 e-files, the other ones can be printed and filed by mail. When you mail a tax return, make sure to attach your W-2's or 1099's that show tax withheld. Use a mailing service like certified mail so you know it was received. Federal and state returns go in separate envelopes to separate addresses.

Can I buy a second copy of TT using a different email address to file the 6th return? The 6th return is for an elderly friend.

Why not just use TT Free online for your elderly friend?
