    <description>&lt;P&gt;Yes, you should receive credit for the over-funded amount. &amp;nbsp; TurboTax will automatically calculate this based on the information entered in your W-2s. &amp;nbsp;The amount of credit you will receive for the over-funded social security can be found on Form Schedule 3, Line 11 "Excess social security and tier 1 RRTA tax withheld". &amp;nbsp; The total for Schedule 3 is then entered on Line 31 of the 1040.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have 2 W-2 forms for 2021, as I switched legal entities within my employer.&amp;nbsp; I over-funded Social Security by over $6,000.&amp;nbsp; Shouldn't I see some refund or amount noted within my filing for that amount?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
