I didn't pay any money in but turbo tax says I get a $1400 refund. Is there something I am missing.

If you are seeing $1400 on line 30 of your Form 1040 that is the recovery rebate credit for the third stimulus payment. If you already received that $1400 last year you cannot get it again so you have answered something incorrectly in Federal Review. If you did not receive the $1400 last year--enjoy it---you get it as a refund now.

This $1,400 probably reflects the last stimulus payment. Did you get the payment, and if you did, did you indicate that properly?

The IRS sent out a letter 6475 to the address they have on file for you confirming the total amount of your third Economic Impact Payment and any plus-up payments you received for the tax year 2021.
