Am I allowed to claim this in my federal return?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I also have a son who is not a dependent that I have helped pay his Sallie Mae loan. Am I allowed to claim the loan interest?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
