    <description>&lt;P&gt;You don't need your children's social security cars to file taxes, only the numbers.&amp;nbsp; If you don't have them handy you can look on older tax returns to get them from there.&amp;nbsp; You can also contact the social security administration&amp;nbsp; at ssa.gov to see if they can help.&amp;nbsp; But there is no requirement that you claim all of the deductions that you are entitled to on your return, so you can leave the children off and file without them if you have to.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Do you recommend I file taxes while not mentioning that my 2 children are US citizens, because we can’t locate their SSN and the deadline to claim recovery rebate credit is near, I live abroad and it’s hard to get a replacement card here&lt;/P&gt;</description>
