Filing federal return

I requested my federal taxes be submitted by mail. When I completed answering all the questions on the federal form, Turbo Tax said my return was ready to be mailed. What does that mean? Will the return be mailed to me so we can sign it and mail it?

No, it is ready to be printed so that you can sign it and mail it. Click 'View My Return" and then print from there.

You have to print it yourself and prepare the envelopes to mail your federal and state returns in. Make sure you attach any W-2's and 1099's that show tax withheld, and use a mailing service such as certified mail so that you will know the returns were received. Federal and state go to separate addresses so watch where you mail them.
