TOTALLY USELESS ANSWERS IN MY FIRST QUESTION!!!

TurboTax Business is making me file form 2553, election for S Corp. I already have S Corp status. Yes, I did check I have an S Corp and entered the CORRECT DATE OF ELECTION! TurboTax will not allow me to e file my tax return unless I elect S Corp status again. I don't need to do this, I already have S Corp status. However, I get 2 useless answers from TurboTax. First one was to go to forms and delete form 2553, well, it is not in there. The next useless answer was I put in the incorrect date of my S Corp status. I checked all of this 5 times!!! Why is TurboTax making me file form 2553? Why can I not move past that page to e file my taxes?

Have you tried this?

Go to Forms and open Form 1120s p1-2.

Look at Line G - is it checked Yes or No?

I believe it should be checked No.

Perhaps this will eliminate the offending form.
