Lost Activation Code

Help!

I didn't finish my taxes and am now going on a business trip and want to install the CD on my laptop to finish them on the road. However, I already threw away the case I bought at Costco and no longer have the activation code. How can I locate the code from my program so I can install it on the laptop? Why is it not embedded in the help menu?

Thanks for your reply, Xmas, but all the link does is tell me where the code is printed on the package. I know this already but I threw the packaging out! It does not tell me how to obtain it in this circumstance!

Did you ever find out how to rectify this situation? My laptop that has it installed died, and even though I have the disk from the dead laptop with Turbo Tax installed, I cannot use it on my new laptop. And like you, I lost the jacket from Staples with the activation code on it.

I went down this route again but the result was no different. After over an hour with customer service, the only option they gave me was to either have Staples give me a new activation code or buy the product again. Are lost activation codes from legitimate customers really such a rare problem? It seems very likely to me to forget the DVD in the drive for months and misplace the jacket with the code on it.

If you also created a TurboTax online account. You should be able to go to TurboTax.com, log in, click Intuit Account in the lower left corner, click product and billing left side middle. Then you should see your purchase history, click on it. Then click the exact product you want to download again. If you see a product activation code click it and hit enter to submit for download.
