It's also sad to hear that people are paying more for this gliche and that Turbotax doesn't even care to fix it.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;HR /&gt;&lt;/BLOCKQUOTE&gt;&lt;P&gt;Did you already pay for a download?&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; If so, the following workaround may not help any. &amp;nbsp; If you haven't already purchased one, the steps below could potentially avoid having to purchase a download.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; In any case, you are correct that you shouldn't have to pay twice for a desktop product.&amp;nbsp; If you have done so, you may have some recourse for a refund.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Did you install it on a computer that has a CD drive, and now want to install it one that doesn't have a CD drive, such as a laptop?&amp;nbsp; And when you try to use a &lt;STRONG&gt;download,&lt;/STRONG&gt; does it say your product is &lt;STRONG&gt;&lt;EM&gt;already registered to another account?&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt;If so, for some reason it won't let you use a download installation if you already used a CD installation.&lt;STRONG&gt;&lt;EM&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;If that's your exact situation&lt;/STRONG&gt;, (i.e., you have no CD drive on the second computer and are getting that error) here's a workaround I've seen a couple users use if you want to try.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; I've never tried it so it's all &lt;STRONG&gt;anecdotal.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; I also don't know if it would work for both the Windows and Mac versions or not.&amp;nbsp; I don't use a Mac.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; I also can't guarantee that you won't encounter any problems, and can't guarantee the license would activate, although I don't see why it wouldn't since it would think it's installing from the CD.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Using the first computer you could insert the CD and copy all the files from the CD to a thumb drive or other external USB device. &amp;nbsp; Be sure you copy them to their own dedicated folder on the USB drive so you can keep track of them, and they stay grouped. &amp;nbsp; You can create and name the USB folder something like "TT CD Install Files" or "TurboTax Install Files", etc.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp; Then take the thumb drive to the laptop, and then COPY the folder containing all the installation files from the USB device to the second computer (or set up a specially-named folder on the second computer and copy the files to it). &amp;nbsp; Then you can run the setup.exe file inside that special folder to install the "CD" directly from your hard drive on that second computer.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;NOTE:&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; I wouldn't run the installation (setup.exe) and install the program directly from the USB thumb drive, or you could get data corruption errors.&amp;nbsp; I'd first copy the files over to the second computer as mentioned above and run it from the second computer's hard drive.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you decide to do that, please report back with your results.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have desktop 2019 Business and Desktop 2019 Premier.&amp;nbsp; My computer has been replaced.&amp;nbsp; I have PDF &amp;amp; paper copies of my 2019, but don't have the turbotax's file.&amp;nbsp; 2020 won't load from 2018, so I'm trying to install my disks for 2019 so I can build that and then do 2020.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;The license code you entered is not valid. Error code: 606&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In my intuit account, it offers download of everything except the actual product.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
