    <description>&lt;P&gt;You never saw this before because there were never advance Child Tax Credit payments before. It's a tax benefit that was enacted for 2021 only.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you have no dependents and did not receive any advance Child Tax Credit payments, just enter zero for the advance payments you received when the error comes up in Smart Check. If you do have dependents or did receive advance payments, you should go through the Child Tax Credit section in TurboTax.&lt;/P&gt;
