You cannot pay your TurboTax fees with PayPal. See the following FAQ.

It says Turbotax accepts PayPal but there's actually no such option. It's odd.

@cindysunny What is "it" that says TurboTax accepts PayPal for the TurboTax fees? Can you post a link or a screen shot?

I think you need a paypal CC/Debit card option on your PP account ...

The FAQ link posted above. Regardless, the payment options in TurboTax also says so but it didn't work.

You cannot simply pay with your paypal account ... you must have a paypal CC or debit card with a visa/MC/Disc/Amex logo on it ... I think the FAQ clearly states that information. When you get to the payment screen those are your choices. Did you ever set one up ? https://www.paypal.com/us/home

IMO, there's another way. Here's how I am going to do it.

When TurboTax asks you to provide a method of payment, I am going to check of "Mail in a check".

After the file is transmitted go to PayUSA taxes and you can use your Paypal Credit card there.

I used this website to pay an old installment plan every month for 5 years, its excellent with only a small fee.

@Jorgb1111 You are talking about paying federal tax that you owe. This thread is about paying TurboTax fees, not paying tax.

And you are still using a PayPal credit card, not a direct PayPal payment.
