Hi, I've never been so frustrated with Turbo Tax. I purchased a cd/download version of 2021 Premier Turbo Tax from Amazon which I have used for the past three years. In the past I have been able to talk with a tax expert. After all morning on the phone, I am told I have to purchase an upgrade to live, but I am unable to do this. I believe I read somewhere that one cannot get an upgrade if using this format? Help!

TurboTax Live is not available in the TurboTax CD/Download software, it is only offered in TurboTax Online. Please see the below TurboTax help article for more information.

Thanks for your answer. So how can I talk to someone that will help me with tax questions? No one will tranfer me to a tax expert when I call. They say I'm not eligible unless I upgrade, which I can't. Frustrated.

Hi, thanks for responding. The person they let me talk to is a "product specalist" only. They cannot answer any tax questions as they are not educated in any tax areas.
