Stimulus - Economic Impact Payment

The Stimulus section for Economic Impact Payment is not showing up on desktop Turbo Tax program. I tried to search for Stimulus and Jump to button but it went to the "Were ready to review your Federal Return" page. Can you help me figure out why the stimulus section is not in my Turbo Tax program.

There are only two reasons the stimulus question will not be presented in TurboTax -

1. You are being claimed as a dependent (or)

2. Your 2021 Adjusted Gross Income is greater than the maximum to be eligible for the Recovery Rebate Credit

• Single or married filing separately—$80,000
• Married filing jointly or qualifying widow(er)—$160,000
• Head of household—$120,000

If that is the case and I got paid wouldn't I need to enter in the amount I got paid? So I would still need the Stimulus section to pay back the overpayment?

The 3rd stimulus payment you received in 2021 does not have to be paid back. You are just not eligible for the Recovery Rebate Credit if you did not receive the 3rd stimulus payment in 2021.
