There is one free state program download included in the purchase price of the Premier CD/Download edition. That does not include one free state e-filing. The current e-file charge for a state tax return is $25. This fee can be avoided by printing and mailing the state tax return.

I purchased the Deluxe with State but also had to pay another $25 to e-file with Arizona. Some states will let you e-file for free but you have to go that particular state's site to see which vendors are free (TurboTax isn't one of them 🙄)

You could always print it out and snail mail it in to save the $25.

Will be looking for another software next year...
