W2 wont import nor am I able to enter it manually. It simply will not allow me to type anything into the any of the text windows. It says that my turbo is up to date. I have restarted the computer several times with no luck.

I do not get an error message. When I go back to reload it says that I am missing info (w2 other info then line b). I have tried reloading it as well. It did the same with our other W2. I doubled checked to see if I was entering it in wrong and that was not the case either.

Are using a Windows operating system? If so, try running the program as an Administrator.

Save your tax return and close the TurboTax program.

Right click on the TurboTax icon on the computer screen.

Click on Run as Administrator.

Start the TurboTax program and see if the problem persists.

It still is having the same issue under using the administrator.

Okay...In some cases it requires a reboot of the computer. So give that a try. Another user indicated that they went into Forms mode and started to complete the W-2 in Forms. Then went back to the interview and the W-2 screen was available.

Thank you. Using the form version helped. Unfortunately the W-2 forms would work and then I would go back to the normal view and it wouldn't start let me use it. Though when I went into forms for other sections I had to enter money in and then went back to the normal version it work.
