Did you select Single or Married when entering your information? If Married you have to be filing Separately and you must not have lived with your spouse at any time during the last six months of the year.

In the My Info section after you have entered your personal information and then entered the information for a dependent the program would have asked you a series of question to confirm that you were eligible for Head of Household filing status.

Go back to My Info and go back through your personal information and the dependents information. Paying careful attention to the questions being asked about your dependent and if you provided over one-half the cost to maintain your home.
