TT keeps saying that I must file 1116 but then TT says 1116 will be ready in the future. What should I do? What if I just file without 1116?

Form 1116 is scheduled to be available in TurboTax on March 17, 2022. It will be difficult to remove the form from your program, which means you would have to mail it in. If you do so, it may not be processed be the IRS, so it is recommended you wait until the form is available.

Thanks for the reply. I will wait until March 17 in hopes that the form 1116 really becomes available then.
I would like to take this opportunity to say that In the past i have found TT to be a transparent and helpful system.
However this year something has really gone bad in TT. It is much less helpful and at times totally obstructive.
This year I started on 28 Feb and went through the process and it said i needed the 1116. And then it took me to the end and let me print my 1040 without 1116 so at least I could see my taxes. Then i tried to go back on 3 March, the first promised date from TT for 1116. There is no valid way to get back into TT. I had to search around posts until i finally found that there is NO legitimate way back into TT this year. You have to trick TT to let you in by saying, at the bottom that you want to file another state. That trick let's you in and then i was able to find that TT did not have 1116 ready as promised on 3 Mar.
I am not liking my TT experience this year.

Form 1116 is currently available for both e-file and print. Form 1116 (Schedule B Foreign Tax Carryover Reconciliation Schedule) is slated to be finalized tomorrow 3/11/22. You may review the forms availability list. Sorry that you have had a less than favorable experience this year.
