I am unable to complete and file my 2021 tax return these past several weeks because TT has yet to incorporate the Form 1116 Schedule B even though the final version appears to have been issued by the IRS several months ago (latest version dated December 2021). Very frustrating to be held up by this delay.

Bad enough that it took TT till March 11 to incorporate the Schedule B, now I am getting an efile error message that it "cannot locate the attachment at Form 1116Schedule B.pdf. Please go back and attach it"

Not sure what that means

These circumstances are unworkable during tax season!

I plan to mail the whole tax form usps. I included my 2 IRA's just hoping TT could fill out the 1116 forms. My Iras contain many foreign stocks put there by Ken Fisher The so called fiduciary Man. I was told a few years ago that I could go back 10 years. True--Untrue.? Ken just loved Japanese stocks and all of the foreign banks--he sold off all of my Boeing, utilities and other blue chips for his purchases. He churns and in 2008 denied we were in a recession. He almost beggared me--lost over half of my Roth. .

if it was your IRA (Individual Retirement Accounts) that incurred the Foreign Tax Credit, you are not allowed to claim the credit on your personal return. Nor can credit be claimed by the IRAs
