topic Spouse Accounts in Get your taxes done using TurboTax

My husband and I each have a Turbotax + Intuit account for filing taxes. I can't remember from year to year under which account we file (we always file married jointly). Does it matter who I sign in under, and is there a way to merge these accounts so it always only reflects the same, up-to-date information?

You can't merge account due to security issues. You should use the same account each year so that your previous years tax data is available. If you use the same account each year, your information will carryover and will be pre-populated which will save time and prevent typos.

There is a way to get a list of all of your TurboTax accounts and I will leave the link below. Once you find the account you used last year, use that one for this year and all future tax returns.
