    <description>&lt;P&gt;Ignore the refund meter and any recommendations about standard/itemizing until you have all income and deductions entered.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;That is the only way to truly know which option is better.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;When TurboTax told you to itemize, you may have had a different filing status or whatever data you had entered at that time made it better to itemize.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;You can switch between both options to see how it changes your refund or tax due amount.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
