      <description>&lt;P&gt;You can only claim a 30 year old dependent if they are fully disabled.&amp;nbsp; You can claim your five year old granddaughter, however, as long as her parents do not claim her.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Make sure to check with your daughter about advance child tax credit payments she has received which would require her to file a tax return for this year and might interfere with you claiming her or your granddaughter.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
