I have been using Turbotax for many years and the import process is normally a bit frustrating, but manageable after a few attempts and following some online recommendations for errors. This year is proving to be the worst though.

I am using the desktop version, as I always do. I have already run into new challenges with multiple brokers, which I have been able to solve. Including the fact that the desktop version of TurboTax Premier doesn't support importing Crypto currency CSV files (which are actually on your desktop), yet the Online version does. I can't even begin to describe how dumb I find that...

I tried to call the customer support team, but that was a new level of uselessness. It took over 5 minutes for the person to even understand which version I was using. Kept repeating back to me something different than I would say. Then another 5 minute to explain to him that I was wanting help with importing documents from a broker. After searching his support guide for 5 more minutes, he literally asked me to check that PC is powered on. After I asked him to jump ahead to actually trying to import, he searched for another 5 minutes then said that importing from brokers was available. I hadn't even told him what brokerage I was having an issue with or that I had had success with one of my other brokers. He was just generically trying to tell me that I couldn't import from any broker.

At this point I simply asked to talk to someone else and was told everyone else is busy so they would have to call me back. I was originally going to ask for community help with this, but I will post that request separately as I just felt the need to vent at this point and hope that someone with intuit sees this.
