Unfiled 2020 Tax Return

I filled out my 2020 income tax return with TurboTax and printed off the payment voucher. In my haste, I forgot to hit submit to e-file my Federal return from Turbotax last year. However, i did send in the payment with the payment voucher on time last year before the deadline. I see from the IRS transcripts that there is a credit for my payment but no return info. I discovered my mistake this year (2022) when trying to file my 2021 return and was asked about my AGI last year. So, how do i make things right? Can i simply print my 2020 return and send it in with no changes? Or, will this cause problems?

You can go ahead and print and mail in your return. Please see the below help articles for instructions depending on the software you used.

Can i simply print my 2020 return and send it in with no changes? Yes

On 2021 return use zero as AGI.
