You are comparing the Desktop program to the Online version. You need to compare it to the Desktop programs here. premier is $110.

https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/cd-download/

And in the Online versions you have to pay for state separately. State is another $45.

And Yikes, I see the state went up to $49 in the Online versions! See the Online versions here, click on state additional under the price.

https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/online/

And by the way, in the Desktop installed program, you don't get a state efile. In the Desktop program you get one free state PROGRAM download to prepare unlimited state returns. Then each state return (including the first one) is $20 to efile, usually goes up to $25 March 1. Or you can print and mail state for free.

also some of these websites (not all amazon websites are amazon, some are independent just using amazon's platform) sell counterfeit versions - illegal copies. others contain malware that can result in your identity being stolen, your bank a/c emptied, your credit cards maxed out. you get what you pay for, use official seller sites only.
