When I import my rental property data (schedule e). It does not import correctly. Because I am on my thrid year of using TT. My depreciation carries over from the previous year. When the 2021 data downloads (income & expenses), it does not download under the already established property files with the depreciation. It creates separate files. It should line up with the two previously depreciated properties data files already there. So after the download, i still have the two files with the depreciation but no updated data and two more data files with the updated 2021 info with no depreciation. any advice? I have my properties tagged properly and they are downloading separate of one another just not with their current year depreciation carried over from 2020. Frustrating. This feature didn't work properly last year either. Last year it combined my two properties together when downloaded into TT...

Hi, CarisaaM,

I was following all directions in the link that you shared already therefore it did not resolve my issue. I ended up entering all my Schedule E data manually as I needed to continue on with completing my taxes (which I am still working on as I type this message...ha! ) I would ultimately like for this to be resolved for future tax years.

This is my third year using Turbotax and importing my Quicken data. While the data does transfer, I have never been able to get the Schedule E (Rental Property) numbers to enter properly. All other data imports without issue.

You are commenting on an older thread. Quicken does not import into Turbo Tax currently. Which type of form are you needing to import? @sdegen
