If you have not paid for the online edition you are using, have not filed your tax return or registered the Free edition, then you can clear your return and start over with a lower priced edition. Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the program screen while working on the 2021 online tax return. Click on Clear & Start Over.

Thanks for reply. That worked and I have started over, but it keeps giving me the option I used last year and it was premiere , nothing cheaper. I'll keep trying.

Then do not accept the upgrade. There should be a box at the bottom of the page that says something like "No Thanks" or something similar so you do Not upgrade.
