After filing taxes last year I received a bill from the Ohio Unemployment office for the first two weeks of Pandemic Relief they rescinded state wide over a year later. I had the 10% federal tax withheld at the time also. My bill was for over $2,600 and I believe I should be able to report it.

This is a claim of right repayment. You can only report it in the year you actually repaid the claim.

The Federal tax withheld has already been reported in the year you reported form 1099-G.

If your repayment is less than $3,000, you'll claim it as a Miscellaneous itemized deduction in Schedule A.

If the repayment is more than $3,000, please read this TurboTax Help topic on how to make the claim.
