Normally, that occurs when the information associated with the entry is not entered properly. Line 2 on form 8815 references higher education expenses for an individual and also your form 1099-INT entry. So, you need to review the education, dependent and interest income entries on your tax return.

This is probably a dumb question on my part. But is there information on line 1 of that form, and is it valid? If the information on line one is not a qualified student, or there's no student listed at all, that will cause this issue.
