      <description>&lt;P&gt;So even though she is not a citizen and was not married to my son at the time the stimulus was given, she would still be eligible?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Even though she came to the US through a nanny company and was given a ss# and she does not work for them anymore that SS# will always be hers and that is what she should use?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;I assume your question is about the third stimulus payment. Tax champ &lt;a href="https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/113"&gt;@DoninGA&lt;/a&gt; is correct. She qualifies for the stimulus. The payment on the 2021 tax return (called a Rebate Recovery Credit) is based on 2021 tax information. It dos not matter that she was not married to your son last year when the stimulus was given.&lt;/P&gt; 
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt; 
&lt;P&gt;The stimulus has two steps: (1) The IRS sent payments last year based on 2019/2020 tax information, then (2), the&amp;nbsp;2021 tax return includes a way for&amp;nbsp; eligible people to claim a payment they did not receive,&lt;/P&gt;</description>
