TT Premier purchased from Costco is a software installation in laptop. I would like to know 2 things
1. Can I use the Costco license code somewhere online if I continue to filing my return directly on the TT Website
2. If I want to use the laptop installed version, is there anyway to bring the already entered data online into that installed version in my laptop?

No you cannot use the CD/download online. The license code cannot be used to pay for online software. Online and the CD/download are different platforms--you cannot move back and forth. When you use the CD/download your tax files are only stored on your own hard drive or any backup device you use like a flashdrive. They are not stored online and you cannot access it online.

Going back and forth between two PC's or laptops etc would be clumsy--you would have to save it to a device and move the files every time you change computers.
