Got a Reject for AGI mismatch, went on IRS.GOV to verify 2020 AGI

Return filed 4/27/2021 and still processing, so its shows "zero" for 2020 AGI

Per advice online changed 2020 AGI to "Zero" and refiled

now its coming up spouse AGI mismatch

Unable to verify IRS.gov record due to spouse being deceased

Best course of action?

wait and see if my 2020 return is finished processing before filing deadline and reattempt efile?

or just file paper return and wait another 10 months for the return to be processed?
