There is no line on Form 1040 that lists "household income." What are you trying to do?

If you mean you want to find the total from all of the W-2's you entered look on line 1.

If you reported "Household employee" income, without entering a W-2, you will find the amount included on line 1 of form 1040. On the doted line to the left will be the notation HSH with the amount of household employee income that is part of the total on line 1. For example, if there is $5000 on line 1 and HSH2000, to the left, you have $2000 of household employee income and $3000 of W-2 income (or other wages).

On your tax return, earned income is the sum of line 1 of form 1040 (Wages and salaries), line 3 of Schedule 1 (Business income or (loss) and line 6 of Schedule 1 (Farm income or (loss)..
