Turbo Tax Premier 2021 Entry is very slow

I'm using Turbo Tax premier desktop 2021 and have used TT for years. This year the data entry seems extremely slow. When using the "interview" guide for example, manually entering fields for a W2, it takes ~5 seconds after clicking on a field before data can be entered, then another 5 seconds to enter the data; clicking out to the next field, wait another 5 seconds. It's as if each activating a field for entry causes a massive recalculation. The cursor turns into the Windows "busy" animation.

This happens when manually entering any field for any form.

Is this a known problem? This needs to get fixed, because it's really slowing taxes down.

Please make sure the program is up to date and then do not run other programs or have open windows in your web browser at the same time.

A certain number of Desktop users are encountering the same problem in certain sections of the software that appear to have been entirely rewritten for 2021...the cause is not known yet.
