You do not get a W-2 for that situation. A W-2 is a document issued by your employer to show how much you were paid and how much tax was withhheld. It sounds like you worked as an independent contractor without tax or Social Security and Medicare withheld so you paid self-employment tax. Your proof that you paid your tax due will be your own credit/debit card record. You may have to wait a bit for the IRS records to catch up and show the payment on your IRS online account.

My job didn’t filed my W-2, so I had to pay my taxes online by DirectPay in Form 1040. How can I obtain a W-2 from that? I check my account and it says “no record of return filed”

Your question is unclear. If you could clarify exactly what you want to know we could better assist you. It sounds like you make a payment to the IRS for your tax bill because you did not receive a W2 from your employer. If you never received a W2 from you job, how did you file a tax return?

Filed Married Jointly with my husband. I do have a job in medical, but I notice that on my paychecks no taxes were being withhold. I eventually had to pay online to make up for it as in Form 1040. The person who help with our taxes now ask for an W-2. Am I suppose to have one since I paid my taxes as an individual?

hopefully my question makes sense, am already confused as is. Thank you.

You are not giving us much information but it sounds like you have been working as an independent contractor--perhaps without realizing it or asking questions during the past year as to why no tax was being withheld.
