WHERE IS FORM 1116???

Turbo tax is still saying that the IRS has not yet completed Form 1116. It has been available at the IRS site online for some time already, as have the Form's instructions.

This same question was raised in this form a month ago and TurboTax has not yet provided a satisfactory answer.

I, and I am sure others, am ready to file except for this Form. The IRS has strongly encouraged us to file as early as possible this year.

Intuit is holding up the show for seemingly no good reason and has not even seen fit to explain why the Form is not yet available in Turbo Tax.

We want ACTION on this issue now.

The form has to be approved for use (inclusion) in the program.

Thanks for your reply, but I remain confused.

Every year I have been using TurboTax, dating back to more than 10 years, Form 1116 has been available and not delayed.

If the IRS has to approve the use of specific forms by Tax Software companies, is there a reason that Form 1116 is unduly delayed this year?

Do you know when TurboTax anticipates receiving IRS approval for inclusion of the Form?
