If I pay for 2021 TurboTax Self-Employed ONLINE will it allow me to Prepare and Amend my return? Or I will have to buy Desktop version for that??

No, you don't have to pay to amend. If you amend your return while the tax season is still active, that is by about October 20, you can amend using the online product.

If you amend after the tax season is closed, you will need to download the Desktop version to do your amendment, but you don't have to pay to do that.

The amendment for 2021 is not in place yet, but here is how to get started when it is:

Log into your online account.
In your Tax Home, scroll down to Your tax returns & documents, select 2021, then Amend using TurboTax Online.
Follow the directions given.
