The IRS also held my taxes last year, when I called I was told I needed to do an identity verification, then I got them around mid to late December

If the IRS had not finished processing your 2020 return by early November 2021, then try using an AGI of 0 (zero.)

this should work because processing was delayed past 10/15.

if not you'll have to file by mail.
