That doesn't explain the WHY? This form is approved by the IRS. you are simply choosing to not include it into your system. I realize it may take some time to write the code/ script to imbed it into your filing system, but a month a half is a ridiculous amount of time to wait on a form that is already available on other sites for E-File.

TT cannot release the form until the IRS approves TurboTax's version (programming) of it.

How long does that take? IRS approved their form mid February, I cannot complete any of my taxes bc TurboTax will not update. This needs to be done ASAP.

IRS has not yet released this form for filing. It will not be released by them until 03/31/2022. You can check the IRS forms availability here.

IRS has released the form, but has not approved TurboTax programming for the form. That is scheduled for 3/31.

I can understand that, but I downloaded the form last week from the IRS website myself. If it takes "a couple of days" then 3/31 is not a couple of days. Three other returns (two state and one local) are dependent on this. Why have other tax filing systems already uploaded this form?? Please update asap.

"It takes some time to incorporate IRS forms into TurboTax. While they may be available from the IRS on a given date, we need a few days to make the forms available for use in TurboTax."

Can you tell me what on line tax service has the Form 8915F ready to go? I've been using TurboTax for many years, but I will switch to another service. I hear the form won't be ready on TurboTax until the end of March. This is way too late. Thanks.

It may take longer for one form or another to show up in TurboTax for multiple reasons. Our goal is to provide you with the most accurate information possible. As part of this process, we communicate often with the taxing agencies. Form 8915-F is currently scheduled for release on March 24, 2022. You can check the status of the form in the below TurboTax help article. If the form becomes available sooner than the currently published date, the article will be updated to reflect the new availability date.

I'm not sure which other services has the forms. I was trusting other members' responses for that statement. Sorry for the confusion. I am comfortable with TT and have used H&R Block before, but at the cost of the programs I will be waiting for 3/24/22 and the update.

Thanks so much for your response. Yeah I'm a long time TT user and would hate to use another service. I agree with you and will just have to wait for TT.
