      <description>&lt;P&gt;What filing status are you using?&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; In the year that your spouse passed away you can still file a joint return.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;And then for the next two tax years&amp;nbsp; after that you can file as a qualified widow if you have a dependent child.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; If it has been longer than that, you could be filing as Head of Household and you would not be getting that question.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
