I am actually having the same issue and so is my wife. We are both filing in North Carolina and we both got a confirmation e-mail thanking us for our order and that it was being sent. But we also got the same message. So i have no clue if either of our returns have gone through but I have no way of e-mailing any kind of support.

I have the same issue in my iPhone app.

I restarted my phone and only tried to submit the federal return as I understand that NC is not ready to receive returns. It still has the same error, tax year 2021 transmissions not available.

I don’t know what state the original person posted about this issue. The date of the release for forms is an estimated date, so please keep checking back. If you attempt to transmit your return and a form you need is still not ready, that could mean the IRS has not finished finalizing it yet. Thank you all for being patient with this process.

So will I still be able to file my taxes for free? Because I don't want to have to pay for something that isn't my fault. Also, does that mean my letter I got in an email stating that my tax return went through is false? So does that mean I need to keep trying to send it through? Cause I really like to have my tax return go through and for me to not get penalized or have to pay anything because of issues that are out of my control

What edition are you using? If you are using the Free edition then, yes it will still be free.
