Error to check entry on Schedue 8812 and I have no dependents

So, when I go to do my Federal Return error check, I keep getting a message to add an entry on Schedule 8812 which appears to be related to a child Tax Credit. I have no dependents listed and I can't find any Child Tax Credits entered in the Credit part of my return. Any idea why this is happening? I don't know whether to ignore it or if it will affect my E-File.

Enter 0 in Schedule 8812 if you did not receive any Advance Child Tax Credit.

Then you will be able to complete the tax return.

It is a requirement for every person filing a tax return to complete Schedule 8812.

Your software doesn't fully correlate to 8812. Specifically the "NEW" repayment protection area. Sad how you guys are allowing people to file with out filling this out when it could save people thousands. Absolute clown software.

Mine did the same thing so I just went through and answered all the questions even though it is just my husband and me. The error check found no errors after that.

Virtually every taxpayer will answer the question about receiving the Advance Child Tax Credit payments. There are reasons why a taxpayer who is not reporting children as dependents could have received the Advance Child Tax Credit payments in 2021.

Answer the questions whether or not you received an IRS Letter 6419 reporting advance payments.
