So I am just referring to the name I use on eBay to sell vintage clothing. I do t have a partnership or corporation. I think because I have a “business” account and I put something in for business name they used it. But yes as I said my TIN had my last 4 of the SS# and address I’d the same. So if I can I will gladly put it under my name in the schedule C. I do use Turbo tax self employed.

My eBay 1099k was sent in my eBay business name but i want to use it to

file taxes all under my personal name. Can I still use the 1099k they sent? My Tax ID # is correct, same as my SS# and it’s my correct address. As long as the IRS gets their money and I pay my taxes am I ok?

When you say "business name", are you referring to a corporation or partnership? Basically an entity that requires it's own tax return. Either way you can include it under your name on the schedule c, since your ss is the number on the form.

Just so you know, if you have another entity such as an S Corporation, you still would have to file that separately (do not include this income if you have included it in your personal return) to avoid penalties.

If your business name is just a DBA (doing business as) name, then you should file the income under your own name. So you are doing it correctly.
