My daughter lives in a shared apartment with a friend. She pays half of 7the expenses, rent & utilities, buys her own food and pays for her cell and other personal items. She is a single parent with a 4-year old child. Does she qualify for the EIC? Thanks

Yes if she has income and is not a dependent on someone else's return.
