taxes difficult this year

Why is this so difficult this year? Last year was a snap. Had them done in an hour. Have been struggling with this year for 2 days. Pres Trump made it so easy. Is this current form a result of the new administration?

If you could provide more clarification we want to assist and could potentially walk you through whatever area is causing you this experience. Some forms are not ready yet, due to changes taking place for 2021. The following links will be helpful to determine if that is an issue.

The advance child tax credit and the earned income credit returns will require more processing time so if that should be one of the questions you have time for resolution.

The 2021 Form 1040 is the same as it was for 2020....Where are you stuck?
