Filed Federal Return....rejected for either AGI is wrong from 2020 return or wrong pin . I have 2020 return AGI is correct also check the box that I filed a return last year. My pin number is correct.

also. Should I mail my returns? Any suggestions on filing Federal? I always file NJ by mail. If I have to I'll mail Federal returns too.

try 0 (zero) for prior year agi.

millions of returns from 2020 were processed after 10/15/2021 or not processed at all. in those cases, the IRS doesn't update the prior AGI. if you amended 2020 then you need to use the AGI on the original return.

Not sure If 0 in AGI is the right thing to do. I don't mind waiting. After State finalize their forms I'll just send them both in by snail mail.

Thank you for your reply.

Did you receive unemployment last year? If so, subtract that amount from AGI.
