Is it mandatory to attach form 8965 (final tax return) if I had a short coverage gap in Jan 2018, despite $0 penalty? I had employer health coverage prior to Jan 2018 and after Jan 2018. Should "Full year health coverage or exempt" in form 1040 be checked? Form 8965 was not part of final tax returns that I had submitted. Kindly advise. thanks
