LICENSE CODE

When I first installed Turbo Tax software it asked to enter the license code. I was able to complete my return. So I uninstalled the software. Two weeks later I needed to install it again. This time it didn't ask for the license code. The problem now is with this endless loop while trying to download state. What is more confusing I was given another Turbo Tax Deluxe. But the same problems occurs with the state download. Does anyone have any idea what happened to cause this problem?

If you can find the state tax file on your computer, you can double click it and it should load up your TurboTax program with the state return attached. The state tax file will have the name of the state and the word "Individual" next to it. It will be an ".exe" file.

You need to not have your TurboTax program running when you attempt to load up the state program.

I thought for sure your answer to my question would solve this problem. But, there was no state tax file to be found.
